Dear Nomads,
Did you ever feel at home in a place you have never been before? To me, this place is Lisbon. Today is my last day in this beautiful city before I travel down the coast to a place called Odeceixe, where I’ll be living on a beach for a month or two. Lisbon is not easy to leave, maybe because I had no intention to go here in the first place and therefore had no idea what to expect. But let me tell you this: I love it here! Lisbon is a weird mixture of the chaotic waterfront city of Istanbul, the creative hub in Berlin and the serene hills of San Francisco. I ate a lot of chicken “Piri Piri”, drank a lot of Port and met a lot of amazing people. I fell in love with this place so much that I’m sure this is not goodbye. I will come back here to spend some more time getting lost in the cobbled allies, eating sardines in a street café and watching the ships disappear behind the horizon that is the endless ocean…
Greetings from the road,
Gesa

Viel Spass!!!
